My conveyancing needs seemed to be unduly complicated due to external admin errors at the bank etc. this very nearly caused significant delays and lots of undue stress and cost for me. Well what can we say! Mike Goodwin and his team have been amazing with us. Overall very happy with service and how quickly our sale and purchase were completed. This was even with a change of solicitor part way when Gemma took over. However, she took the reins and steered us to the end very capably. A few hiccups along the way with communication and differing information coming from the solicitors of different parties and you never know who is right! I guess that always happens though. The only thing I am not too happy about is how long it has taken for me to get sight of a completion statement and how much money I am due - still waiting for both and it is Day 5 post completion - admittedly two days a weekend.

Although Gavin listed above as lawyer, it was Sarah Coldicott who got us over the line in what turned out to be a slightly fraught and protracted process, and it was the actions of Sarah, Louise and Chloe (with help from others in the office there) that gave it the final push required. This was despite various hurdles put in our way by parties and elements outside of our/Davisons' control, mostly down to our seller's estate agents and solicitors and a complex and badly-handled overage agreement on their purchase. Really appreciate all your hard work and friendly service, which was invaluable in those last few weeks; you definitely earned your money, and I don't think I've said that about many conveyancers in the past!
