In order to achieve this, Ms Timson undertook a rigorous and specialised course over 12 months in inheritance and succession planning. As part of the course, Ms Timson was recognised for her outstanding academic achievements at an awards dinner in June, having received one of the top marks in their examinations. The honour highlights her sound understanding of the complexities in later life planning.
STEP members are recognised as experts in their field and help families plan for their futures, from drafting a Will to advising on issues concerning international families, protection of the vulnerable, family businesses and philanthropic giving.
Speaking about her recent full STEP membership status, Ms Timson said:
“I am very pleased to be a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I am proud to be able to offer a greater level of expertise to our clients. With increasingly complicated family structures, knowledge of trust law has become essential.”
Fellow private client colleague, Angela Craig—who specialises in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, probate, estate administration, and inheritance tax and care-free planning—is also a full STEP member and Trust and Estate Practitioner. Ms Craig said:
