Sam Kent

Senior Associate. Legal Executive

I have over 32 years experience in advising and helping people about family Law.

As a specialist family lawyer I enjoy my job and get great satisfaction in helping and seeing people change their lives for the better, from start to finish. Family law continues to develop with the growth of ways of settling disputes without a necessity of issuing court proceedings.  However, at the centre of all this is achieving the best results for my clients.

My hobbies now are watching live football matches (Villa, Burton Albion and Blues-courtesy of family allegiances), cycling and tennis. I used to play a lot of football until age and lack of ability caught up with me. I am a qualified FA coach, qualified netball coach and netball umpire (courtesy of having daughters). I also enjoy pilates, which I would recommend to everyone.

Sam took on our case three weeks prior to a fact find hearing that had already previously been adjourned. To say he had very little time to familiarise himself with our case would be an understatement, nevertheless, he prioritised our work with upmost importance.

From our first meeting, Sam displayed a high level professionalism coupled with great understanding and empathy towards our family situation.

I have already recommended Sam’s services to an acquaintance and I would be happy to in the future. If the need arose (which I hope it does not) I would not hesitate to instruct Sam again.

Thank you for working hard to assist in gaining the best possible outcome for my children, in what proved to be a complex case.
